In the devastating wake of a second Nepalese earthquake, Lycamobile is asking its customers to join in supporting the growing number of displaced and broken families currently in dire need of help.
Over 8,000 people were killed in the first earthquake on the 25th of April. Now, with the rubble not yet cleared from the carnage of the first disaster, another has struck and that total is rising.
With your help, the suffering people of eastern Nepal can get the clean water, sanitation and emergency food needed to save lives. Text GIVE5 to 7575 and donate as little as £5 to give a lifeline to a family in need of hope. The money will be deducted directly from the donors Lycamobile account balance, and an unlimited number of GIVE5 texts may be sent. (Please note that an additional network processing fee of 70p will be charged per request.)
Unless otherwise stated, there will be no refunds for the cost of any SMS text made or for any misdialled short codes or misspelled keywords. All customers must obtain permission from the bill payer before sending a text message. If you are under 16 years old, you must have your parent or guardian's permission.
