  • The phone has a 4-way directional ‘Navi’ key and 2 soft keys on either side of this. The Navi key can also be pressed in to select options.
  • Access point setup
  • Press the menu key (opposite the number 7 key).
  • Highlight ‘Tools’ and then ‘Open’ (press Navi key).
  • Highlight ‘Settings’ and then ‘Open’ (press Navi key).
  • Highlight ‘Connection’ and then ‘Open’ (press Navi key).
  • Highlight ‘Destinations’ and then ‘Open’ (press Navi key).
  • Highlight ‘Access point’ and then ‘Select’ (press Navi key).
  • Answer ‘No’ (right softkey) to the question, Automatically check for available access points?.
  • Highlight ‘Packet data’ and then ‘Select’ (left softkey).
  • Enter data.lycamobile.co.uk and as the access point name and then press ‘OK’ (left softkey).
  • Highlight ‘WAP services’ and then ‘Select’ (left softkey).
  • Highlight ‘WAP services’ and then ‘Open’ (press Navi key).
  • Highlight lycamobile and then ‘Edit’ (press Navi key).
  • Ignore ‘Connection name’ and ‘Data bearer’ as these have already been filled in.
  • Highlight ‘Access point name’ and then ‘Change’ (press Navi key), data.lycamobile.co.uk and ‘OK’ (left softkey).
  • Highlight ‘User name’ : lmpl and ‘OK’ (left softkey).
  • Highlight ‘Prompt password’ : plus
  • Highlight ‘Password’ : plus and ‘OK’ (left softkey).
  • Highlight ‘Authentication’ and press Navi key to change to ‘Normal’.
  • Highlight ‘Homepage’ and then ‘Change’ (press Navi key), enter www.lycamobile.co.uk and ‘OK’ (left softkey).
  • Highlight ‘Use access point’ and press Navi key to change to ‘Automatically’.
  • Press ‘Options’ (left softkey), highlight ‘Advanced settings’ and the ‘Select’ (left softkey).
  • Highlight ‘Network type’ and press Navi key to change to ‘IPv4’.
  • Press ‘Back’ (right softkey) twice.
  • Highlight lycamobile and press ‘Options’ (left softkey).
  • Highlight the position you require (this would usally be number 1) and then press ‘OK’.
  • Press the right softkey six times, to return to the standby screen.
