Settings – GPRS

You’ll need to complete all steps for this to work.

The phone has a 4-way directional ‘Navi’ key and 2 soft keys on either side of this and 4 additional soft keys either side of the keypad. The Navi key can also be pressed in to select options.

To insert the required symbol (e.g. : / . @) into your settings, simply press the * key, highlight the appropriate symbol and press the Navi key to select.

  • Select ‘Menu’ (Navi Key)
  • Select ‘Settings’ (Navi Key)
  • Scroll to and select ‘Configuration’ (Navi Key)
  • Scroll to and select ‘Personal config. settings’ (Navi Key)
  • Select ‘Options’ (Left Soft Key)
  • Scroll to and select ‘Add new’ (Navi Key)
  • Select ‘Web’ (Navi Key)
  • Select ‘Account Name’ (Navi Key), enter lycamobile and press ‘OK’ (Navi Key)
  • Highlight and select ‘Homepage’ (Navi Kay), enter www.lycamobile.co.uk and select ‘OK’ (Navi Key)
  • Highlight and select ‘Username’, enter lmpl and select ‘OK’ (Navi Key)
  • Highlight and select ‘Password’, enter plus and select ‘OK’, verify password and again select ‘OK’ (Navi Key)
  • Highlight and select ‘Use preferred access pt.’ select ‘No’. (Navi Key)
  • Highlight and select ‘Access point settings’ (Navi Key):data.lycamobile.co.uk
  • Select ‘Proxy’ and then highlight and select ‘disabled’ (Navi Key)
  • Ignore ‘Data bearer’ this should be set to ‘Packet Data’
  • Highlight and select ‘Bearer settings’ (Navi Key)
  • Select ‘Packet data access point’ and enter data.lycamobile.co.uk and select ‘OK’ (Navi Key)
  • Ignore ‘Authentication type’, this should be set as ‘Normal’
  • Highlight ‘Username’ and select, enter lmpl and select ‘OK’ (Navi Key)
  • Highlight ‘Password’ and select, enter plus and select ‘OK’. Verify password and again ‘OK’ (Navi Key)
  • Press ‘Back’ three times (Right Soft Key).
  • Highlight lycamobile and select ‘Options’ (Left Soft Key).
  • Select ‘Activate’ (Navi Key)
  • Press back 4 times (Right Soft Key)
