The earning cap
Invite whoever you'd like, but only the first 5 successful referrals will be rewarded. Your highest tier is to sign up 5 referrals who each complete 24 months of service at the rate of £65, which amounts to £325. That's not a bad return for just a few WhatsApp messages.
Rewards will change from "Pending" to "Confirmed" once both friends have met the required criteria below.
The Fine Print That Actually Matters
Your friend has to stick around
When someone has activated the SIM in a handset (i.e. put it into a device and started using it), there is a timeframe from that point onwards to stay on whatever plan was initially purchased. Simply purchasing a SIM card and leaving it in a drawer does not start the timeframe; only once the SIM has been activated does the timeframe begin. The amount of time the customer must remain on their existing plan is determined by which service they purchased.
12-month and 24-month Pay Monthly plans: at least 1 full billing cycle.
PAYG SIM-only and 1-month Pay Monthly plans: 2 consecutive billing cycles.
Should your referral (friend) cancel or drop off before reaching that point, they will be disqualified as your referral and you will not receive the credit for your referral. Be sure to tell your friend right away that they must keep their phone line active for 1 to 2 months. This ensures they get their 3-month discount, and it makes sure you get your cash reward.
Your own account has to be active
To qualify for the cash payment, you are required to be an active Lyca Mobile PAYG SIM-only/Pay monthly customer when Aklamio approves your reward. When your Lyca Mobile account is switched to another operator or becomes inactive before Aklamio has completed its payment process, you will lose your cash payment.
Downgrades reduce your reward
Should your friend purchase a PAYG (prepay) SIM-dependent plan and subsequently downgrade within the same renewal period (to a lower-priced plan) the amount of your reward will be recalculated to correspond with this lower-priced option. For example, if your friend's original £15 plan is then downgraded to £10 prior to their renewal date, then you will be rewarded based upon the £10 value instead of the £15 value. Only PAYG referrals will be affected by this change; however, Pay Monthly customers are unable to downgrade during their contractual obligation; therefore they will not be affected by this change either.
Tracking Your Earnings
You will never have to wonder if a link has been clicked - the tracking is automatic and very clear.
Email alerts: As soon as someone clicks on a link from your referral and purchases something, Aklamio will send you an email at your registered email address confirming a referral started.
Your dashboard: Log into your Aklamio account any time to see how many friends used your link, which stage each referral is at, and how much you've earned.
Each purchase is treated as a different order: If one friend who buys through your link buys a couple of different SIM only plans for various devices/family members, each plan meets the activation and billing criteria and qualifies as a separate referral.
